The East Central Intergovernmental Association (ECIA) is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Accountant to help support the organization's financial operations and community-focused mission. As a regional council of governments, ECIA works with local communities to strengthen economic development, housing, transportation, planning, and public services throughout the region.

Position Summary

The Finance Accountant plays an important role in maintaining the financial health of the organization through a broad range of accounting responsibilities, including:

  • Payroll processing
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Financial reporting and general ledger maintenance
  • Grant tracking and compliance
  • Budget support and financial analysis
  • Audit preparation and coordination
  • Monthly and annual financial close activities

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
