Testimonials

"We began the process of a feasibility study with Jennifer Walker to raise funds for a library building. We were on the fast track to secure funds for a CAT Grant Application. Jennifer assisted the city by preparing grants, contacting private donors and coordinating volunteers for our fund raising campaign. The project would not have gotten off the ground without the help of Jennifer and the staff at ECIA."

- Beth Bonz
City of Asbury, City Administrator

"We received a bequest of $116,000 and we began moving forward with plans to replace our library building. We had been meeting for 18 months, selecting an architect and choosing a building plan. We were struggling to raise funds to move forward with grant applications. Jennifer visited with the committee and then she did a feasibility study of potential donors. She definitely got us on the right path to the next phase of fundraising."

“As Mayor, and a representative  of the Manchester City Council, we have had the opportunity to work with Marla on several occasions. Marla was instrumental in helping the city to secure a $300,000 Community Attraction and Tourism (CAT) Grant for the development of the Manchester Whitewater Park, as well as a $100,000 Resource Enhancement and Protection (REAP) Grant for Phase 1 of the Manchester Downtown Development Plan. Both of these grants are extremely competitive. Marla demonstrated excellent research, technical, and organizational skills. Her ability to familiarize herself with the City’s goals and vision for each project was impeccable. Marla was able to successfully manage the grant proposals, each with its own distinctive moving parts and pieces, keeping them on schedule with excellent quality standards. With her assistance, she was able to make a significant impact in our community and inevitably helped to make the City’s vision a reality.”
